Established in 2008, the Faculty of Health and Behavioural Sciences (formerly known as the Faculty of Professional Schools) brought together the Schools of Kinesiology, Nursing, and Social Work, the Department of Psychology and programs in Public Health and Gerontology. We are a dynamic group, poised to provide innovative research and educational programming to meet the ever changing demands of the Canadian health care sector, with special emphasis and sensitivity to rural, remote, Aboriginal and northern health issues.

Human health and well-being is of interest to everyone, from private citizens to officials at the highest levels of government.
